Aswagandhadi Lehyam is a well known Ayurvedic Rasayana "Rejuvenator" under the sub group of "Medhya" (the mind, and the cognition promoting effect on the central nervous system).
An excellent rejuvenative tonic with a slightly warmer energy than Chyavanaprasam. Its major ingredient, Aswagandha, has been called "the Indian Ginseng," and is considered the best Rasayana for the muscles, marrow, semen and for the Vata dosha. It ignites the appetite and bodily vitality, refines complexion, fortifies immunity and virility. Additionally, because it harbors the nervine qualities intrinsic to Aswagandha root, it is excellent for nervous energy and conditions of excess Vata.
